Mr. Peter Sürken died on August 23, 2021.

He held various management positions in the chemical industry in the USA, Netherlands and Italy, among others. His India expertise results from his several years on site as Managing Director of Degussa India Pvt. Ltd. (today Evonik India). Here his responsibility was to set up the subsidiary(s) in India as well as the strategic management of Degussa's business for the entire “South Asia” region.

Peter Sürken worked at the WB Group from 2004 to 2012 as an expert in crisis management and special projects before moving to the Advisory Board.
