With Michael Enderle as a long-time expat manager in India, located in New Delhi, Mumbai and Pune and former President and Board Member of the Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) India, we are excited to have a very experienced India expert and specialist in the industrial sector. Michael Enderle is an ideal addition to the existing experts at WB, thanks to his many years of work abroad in India and his more than 25 years of experience in the industrial sector, including almost a decade at management level.
Your expert for cost savings & process optimization
It is WB’s first and foremost objective, especially in today’s challenging times, to support Swiss organisations in India in areas such as cost savings, all kinds of process optimization and revision of their sales strategies and distribution setups. The current enormous challenges require adjustments which should lead to increased agility and sustainable cost efficiency. The WB team offers the necessary know-how and experience to support European companies and their subsidiaries in India. We are very pleased that together with Michael Enderle, we will be able to support also Swiss subsidiaries in India on these important topics.
Michael’s extensive management experience in India
During his first seven (of twelve) years in India, he was responsible for an investment project in Pune worth CHF 80 million. As Managing Director, he was able to substantially increase the turnover and local market share of the mechanical engineering company. Michael Enderle has profound experience in building up and managing the local subsidiary with all business relevant functions with more than 1,300 employees and by applying change and process management. The fact that overcoming many obstacles and the experience in dealing with local conditions were part of the success of building up this local company are further sustainable assets. As head of the Swiss Business Hub India, the export and investment promotion organisation of Switzerland, Michael Enderle and his team also supported more than 100 Swiss companies annually in their challenges in the Indian market.
We are pleased that with the existing WB team of experts located in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and India, we can now also offer with Michael Enderle comprehensive support for Swiss companies and their subsidiaries in India.
